(November 30 – 11:25 ET) –
Bank of Montreal is testing
wireless trading. The move makes it
the first bank in North America to
deliver integrated wireless
banking and investment services to
mobile customers, BNO says in a
prepared statement.
The market test will allow an
identified group of Veev users in
the Toronto market to trade
through Bank of Montreal’s
InvestorLine discount brokerage in
addition to accessing an already
extensive menu of banking and
investment services, says BMO.
“The initial feedback on Veev
has been overwhelmingly positive,”
said Jeffrey S. Chisholm,
Vice-Chair, Personal and
Commercial Client Group, Bank of
Montreal.
