Edmonton-based ATB Financial has launched ATB Capital Markets to help Alberta-based businesses get access to capital.

Services offered will include corporate banking and project financing; access to debt capital, equity capital and financial markets; and advice on mergers and acquisitions.

“Businesses and industry are at the heart of our economy and we’re committed to being a strong partner to help them adapt and succeed,” said Jon Horsman, senior executive vice president of business at ATB Financial.

The new business line draws on the capital market services within ATB Financial and its subsidiary, AltaCorp Capital.
