Allstate Insurance Co. of Canada has developed a strategic alliance with LifeCall, a national provider of personal emergency response systems.

Allstate policyholders are now able to access an exclusive, value-added offer for personal emergency response services provided by LifeCall.

Allstate customers can contact their agent or call 1-800-allstate and will be referred by Allstate to LifeCall, or the customer can contact LifeCall’s 1-800 number and provide their Allstate agent’s name.

LifeCall is a division of VOXCOM Security Systems.

“Allstate is extremely proud of its long standing relationship with VOXCOM and we are very excited to be able to now offer our customers access to this potentially life-saving service, LifeCall,” said Christianne Dostie, vp of Allstate, in a news release. “Our new strategic alliance with LifeCall further illustrates that we are committed to providing our customers with access to the highest quality products and coverage to help keep them and their family safe,” Dostie added.

LifeCall is a personal emergency response system that provides access to help at the press of a button. In an emergency LifeCall will dispatch the required emergency service, whether it is police, fire, or ambulance as determined by speaking to the customer through the two-way voice communicator. LifeCall was established in Canada in 1989 and helps make independent living easy for thousands of elderly, chronically ill and physically challenged Canadians every day. With an increase in the diversity of the needs of an aging population, the LifeCall service can provide an affordable alternative to assisted living and retirement facilities by allowing individuals to live safely in their own homes for as long as possible.

Allstate Canada produces and distributes home and auto insurance products right across Canada, through one of our 438 exclusive community-based agents, directly online at www.allstate.ca, and through the Customer Contact Centre at 1-800-allstate.
