Allstate Insurance Co. of Canada today announced Mike Haskell is leaving his post as president and CEO to accept a position in Allstate Corp.’s U.S. headquarters. Returning to Allstate Canada as its new president and CEO is Mike Donoghue, who served as vice president of claims here during the 1980s.
Haskell has been appointed vice president, product operations, at Allstate’s corporate headquarters in Northbrook, Ill.
Donoghue is moving to Canada from Illinois where he has served, most recently, as vice president responsible for the entire U.S. claims field organization. Donoghue began his career with Allstate in Brooklyn, N.Y., after graduation from Rutgers University in 1970. He has held management positions in New York, San Francisco, and in Canada where he was vice president, claims, from 1987 to 1989.
