(August 1 – 12:40 ET) – Alberta Treasury Branches says it has selected a platform developed Corillian Corp. of Beaverton, Ore., to offer its retail customers real-time Internet access to their accounts. ATB is Corlillian’s first Canadian customer.

ATB will implement the Voyager eFinance suite and make it available to ATB’s customers in October. Using any browser, it will provide real-time transaction processing and an integrated online bill payment feature. With a single click, ATB customers will also be able to download their financial data into Quicken or Microsoft Money, enabling them to easily reconcile accounts and analyze spending data.

“Internet banking has become a major component of all financial institutions’ business strategy, for the simple reason that consumers demand it,” says Howard Ho, vice president of electronic banking for ATB. “With our plans to include Voyager’s capabilities with Quicken or Microsoft Money and portal strategies, we feel we have a solution that can position us as a leader in providing the best Internet service for our customers.”

“Providing the best in online content for financial services will enable Alberta Treasury Branches to meet immediate goals while ensuring a proven framework for future functionality,” says Ted Spooner, president and CEO of Corillian. “This partnership with ATB is a significant milestone in our company’s commitment to provide financial institutions with the best Internet products and services.”
