(March 28 – 18:00 ET) – Mario Causarano has been appointed president and chief operating officer of AGF Trust Company, a subsidiary of AGF Management Ltd., effective immediately.

According to the company, Causarano brings extensive experience in private client business banking, which complements AGF’s existing private investment management and mutual fund businesses.

D’Arcy Doherty, who has been with AGF Trust Co. since 1987, has been named vice chairman of the company.

Blake Goldring, president and CEO of AGF Management Ltd. will also assume additional responsibilities as chairman and CEO of AGF Trust Co., succeeding Warren Goldring in these duties. He has also been named to the AGF Trust Co. board of directors.

In further appointments to AGF Management Ltd., AGF has named Brian Gore to the position of senior vice president, Administration, and Robert Smuk to senior vice president, Information Technology.
