(September 20 – 10:50 ET) – The countdown is on. This week we’ll pass the 100 day countdown to Y2K. In response, the Canadian Bankers Association is launching initiatives to inform Canadians about the banking industry’s preparations for the Year 2000.
A key element of this effort is a new brochure entitled Are Canada’s Banks Ready for the Year 2000? YES. The brochure answers the most frequently asked questions Canadians have about Y2K and their banking needs. Starting today, it is available at banks across the country, on the CBA web site or by calling the CBA call centre at 1-800-263-0231.
