Greg Bieber has joined National Bank Financial as a senior wealth advisor and portfolio manager. He brings wealth advisor and associate portfolio manager Chris Daniels, plus three associates with him. The team has departed from Richardson Wealth, where Bieber spent more than two decades as a portfolio manager and investment advisor.
Eric Muir has joined Scotia Wealth Management as a senior wealth advisor and portfolio manager, leaving Raymond James Ltd., where he was a senior portfolio manager in the private client group.
Jennifer Fedrun has joined IG Wealth Management as an executive financial consultant, moving from Manulife Securities after more than 17 years. Ray Bukovy has also joined IG Wealth as a senior financial consultant after more than 30 years with Manulife Wealth.
Joanna Simon has been promoted to vice-president and head, international advisory and brokerage at Scotia Wealth Management. Simon joined Scotia Wealth as regional director, international investment advisory in January this year, moving from UBS, where she was national head of markets and executive director for the Canadian wealth management business.
Sonny Randhawa has been named CEO of the Canadian Public Accountability Board, effective Mar. 2. Randhawa is currently vice-president, regulatory operations with the Ontario Securities Commission. He has 25 years of experience in regulatory oversight and audit quality, most of them with the OSC in various roles, including director, corporate finance and manager of investment funds and structured products.
