The Quebec Securities Commission reports that Pierre Clément pleaded guilty to seven violations of securities rules.
Justice Maurice Parent of the Court of Quebec, Criminal and Penal Division, ordered Clément to pay a $15,000 fine within one year.
Clément pleaded guilty to: five counts of carrying on business as a dealer without being registered, for each he was fined $1,000; and, he pleaded guilty to two counts of assisting in the distribution of an investment without having a prospectus approved by the QSC. He received a $5,000 fine for each count.
