The Investment Dealers Association and the Canadian Securities Administrators have released a new version of the National Registration Database.

The new version of the NRD focuses primarily on implementing additional functionality that will allow previously disclosed information to be corrected, says the IDA. For example, some database fields have been modified to allow firms to correct previously disclosed proficiency information. They will also be able to fix otherwise deficient submissions more easily.

In light of these changes, the IDA is asking members to correct any inaccurate information reflected in the permanent record of their reps.
