The Ontario District Council of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada has permanently barred Roger Rambhajan, a former registered representative with Rampart Securities Inc., for forging client signatures, creating false trade confirmation slips, diverting clients’ mail, and executing trades in clients’ accounts without their knowledge or consent.

Rambhajan is permanently prohibited from registration in any capacity with the IDA, must pay $275,000 in fines, $7,220 disgorgement of commissions, and $48,400 in investigation costs within 30 days. Rambhajan has not been registered with the Association since 1998.
