A date has been set by the Alberta District Council of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada for the disciplinary hearing of Jerry Russell Johnson. The council will consider a settlement agreement entered into between IDA enforcement staff and Johnson.

The proceeding is scheduled to commence at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at the IDA office in Calgary. The proceeding is open to the public.

If the Alberta District Council determines that discipline penalties are to be imposed on Johnson, the IDA will issue a bulletin giving notice of the discipline penalties assessed, the regulatory violations committed, and a summary of the facts. Copies of the bulletin and settlement agreement will be made available.
