(January 19 – 10:25 ET) – The Ontario Securities Commission and the Canadian Association of Retired Persons are teaming up to deliver investor education online.

The OSC has developed a video series entitled, “Protecting Yourself Against Investment Scams and Frauds.” It includes appearances from OSC Chair, David Brown, and Director of Enforcement, Michael Watson, covering topics such as regulatory safeguards, as well as various initiatives taken by the OSC to fight investment fraud. The videos were taped duringa series of Cross-Canada conferences.

Not-for-profit organizations can obtain VHS copies of the tapes free of charge by contacting the OSC Inquiries Line.
