The Alberta Securities Commission yesterday issued an interim order prohibiting Peter Workum and Theodor Hennig from acting as a director or officer of any company in Alberta.

The order is effective for 15 days, upon which ASC staff will seek to have the order extended until a full hearing into the allegations against Workum and Hennig can be held.

The hearing into allegations of accounting misrepresentations, market manipulation, covert insider trading and payment of secret commissions will be held January 13, 2003.
