The Alberta Securities Commission has published the final version of its proposed new, harmonized capital raising exemptions.

These rules will been adopted in Alberta effective March 30. The multilateral instrument, the related rules and policy is a joint initiative of the Alberta and B.C. Securities Commissions, which harmonizes their rules for raising capital.

The BCSC has now obtained government consent to the rules too, and anticipates adoption of them within a week.
