Quebec financial planners can now earn continuing education credit by taking any of 11 LOMA courses in French. LOMA is an international association, which offers education programs to the insurance and financial services industry, including the widely known Fellow, Life Management Institute program.
Quebec’s financial planning institute, the Institut Québecois de Planification Financiére, recently accredited the courses from LOMA, including 10 FLMI courses and the Associate, Customer Service 100 course. Each course qualifies a financial planner to receive six continuing education credits from IQPF. To maintain their license, Quebec financial planners need to earn 30 CE credits every two years.
Additionally, Quebec insurance agents can receive credit for these LOMA courses through accreditation by the Bureau de la Securité Financière. BSF awards agents 30 CE credits for each course.
Established in 1932, the 10-course FLMI Program is the world’s largest university-level education program in insurance and financial services. Course topics cover every aspect of the insurance business, from basic principles of insurance to accounting, marketing, management, solvency & profitability, and more.
ACS 100, Foundations of Customer Service, gives a solid knowledge base for building solid customer service strategies, understanding customers, and establishing and measuring customer service performance.
