C.I. Fund Management Inc.
is making portfolio management
changes to the BPI Canadian
Bond Fund, the BPI Global RSP Bond
Fund and the BPI Emerging Markets
Fund effective October 1, 1999.
J. Zechner Associates Inc.
has been appointed investment
manager for the BPI Canadian Bond
Fund and the BPI Global RSP Bond
Fund. Zechner manages over $1.6
billion in Canadian assets for
C.I. as at September 30, 1999
Credit Suisse Asset Management,
LLC has been appointed
investment manager for the BPI
Emerging Markets Fund replacing
BPI Global Asset Management LLP
which managed the Fund’s
portfolio since March 31, 1997.
CSAM has advised many of the C.I.
Funds since inception.
Nandu Narayanan of CSAM will
become lead portfolio manager
of the BPI Emerging Markets Fund.
Narayanan currently manages the
C.I. Emerging Markets Fund.
These portfolio management
changes are part of C.I.’s
ongoing review of its fund
offerings following the successful
acquisition on August 19, 1999, of
BPI Financial Corporation.
