(February 29) – C.I. Mutual Funds Inc. is announcing the launch of a new fund that brings together the best ideas of four of its sub-managers in the C.I. Global Managers Fund, available in RSP-eligible and foreign-content versions.

The fund’s portfolio will include about 80 stocks selected by James Abate of Credit Suisse Asset Management, LLC of New York; Dan Jaworski, chief investment officer of BPI Global Asset Management LLP of Orlando, Fla.; Nandu Narayanan, chief investment officer of Trident Investment Management LLC (lead manager of the C.I. Pacific Fund and the C.I. Emerging Markets Fund); and William Sterling, chief investment officer of C.I. Global Advisors LLP of New York.

Peter Anderson, president of C.I. Mutual Funds says, “One of the reasons for C.I.’s growth has been our decision to offer investors a choice of investment managers and styles. This fund ties together our high-performing global portfolio management teams.”

C.I. is also launching the C.I. Global Business-to-Business (B2B) Fund in foreign-content and RSP-eligible flavours to play the trend of B2B electronic commerce. It has also introduced seven new RSP-eligible versions of existing C.I. funds. The new funds are the C.I. Emerging Markets RSP Fund, the C.I. Global Biotechnology RSP Fund, the C.I. Global Consumer Products RSP Fund, the C.I. Global Energy RSP Fund, the C.I. International RSP Fund, the C.I. Pacific RSP Fund, and the C.I. Japanese RSP Fund.
