Spectra Securities Software has signed a partnership agreement with Ticoon Technology Inc., a privately held life goal-planning and personal financial management software company.
Spectra is combining Ticoon’s Life Goal Planning application with Spectra Information Server for account aggregation to provide advisors and their clients with a consolidated view of accounts, positions and planning information. Financial plans can be automatically updated with current investment values at any time for an accurate, real time analysis of holdings.
The firms hope the deal will mean that financial institutions will be able to offer collaborative financial management that empowers advisors and investors to establish and manage short and long term financial goals.
“The integration of Spectra’s order management and account opening applications is key,” said John McLeod, president and CEO of Spectra. “This feature drives real revenue for our financial institution customers because the investor’s decision to place a trade or open an account is not delayed.”
The partnership completes Spectra’s Wealthware offering by providing clients with value-added financial planning capabilities that will enhance their relationship with their investors. “Empowering investors by providing them with the tools to take control of their financial planning and life goals is an important way to build loyalty and win new accounts for any wealth management line of business, ” said McLeod.
