TD Asset Management Inc.
has appointed Jarislowsky Fraser
adviser to the Green Line Balanced
Income Fund and the Green Line
Blue Chip Equity Fund.
Jarislowsky Fraser was founded
in 1955 by Stephen Jarislowsky and
adopted the investment principal
that the company’s primary goal
would be to grow capital on
behalf of clients in a very
conservative manner, mitigating
risk. Their methodology focuses
on long-term trends, avoiding
securities that they believe to be
speculative and limiting maximum
exposure to any one company or
industry.
As of September 30, 1999, the
Green Line Balanced Income Fund had
assets under management of
approximately $280 million, while
the Green Line Blue Chip Equity
Fund had assets under management
of approximately $360 million. The
previous advisor to both funds was
Sceptre Investment Counsel Ltd.
