The Investor Learning Centre of Canada relaunched its Web site today. The new ILC site, www.investorlearning.ca , features online seminars, resources listed by topic, improved speed and access time, a “Resources for Teachers” section, and more than 200 links to investment related sites.
The new site also offers enhanced online shopping capability to purchase ILC books or enroll in ILC seminars.
“There are many personal finance web sites available to Canadians” said Beverly Brooks, executive director of the ILC. “The advantage of www.investorlearning.ca is objectivity. Our raison d’être is to provide information that is relevant, accurate and unbiased.”
The re-launch of the Web Site was announced at a ceremony at the ILC Resource Centre in downtown Toronto and featured Fred Ketchen, director, Scotia Capital Markets, and chair of the ILC, who spoke about the recent state of the Canadian economy. The event was moderated by Bruce Sellery, host of “On the Money” on Report on Business Television.
The event was recorded and will be rebroadcast on ROB TV’s Web site starting on September 26.
