(February 22 – 09:55 ET) – The consolidation of financial media and research continues with Investment.com announcing a deal to acquire Mutual Fund Reviewmagazine, the Fund Counsel newsletter, the website fundcounsel.com and various other assets for an undisclosed combination of cash and stock.

Mutual Fund Review editors, Levi Folk and Richard Webb, will be joining Investment.com as executive producers. “We are very excited about the acquisition of the Mutual Fund Review, the Fund Counsel website, and the addition of Levi Folk and Richard Webb to the management team,” said Charles Desjardins, Investment.com president and CEO.

The Mutual Fund Review will be renamed the . The firm’s other publication, Investment.com Magazine will debut next week as an insert in The Globe and Mail.
