(January 11) – The Investor Learning Centre of Canada is promoting its latest series of Intelligent Investing Seminars. They’re due to start in February and running to May.

Ann Clarkson, vice president of public education for the ILC says the courses are designed to “provide investors with practical information they need to immediately start improving the performance of their personal investment portfolios.”

Level 1 takes novice investors through the basics of investing: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and RRSPs. It costs $175 for six 2-1/2 hour seminars held weekly.

Level 2 costs $200 for six weekly 2-1/2 hour seminars. It includes company and stock analysis, discusses alternatives to mutual funds and portfolio management.
