iForum Financial Network Inc. announced Monday that it has finalized the transaction to acquire Diversifolio Financial Services Inc. iForum had launched its bid for Diversifolio last November.

Tony Tiberi, president of Diversifolio commented, “I look forward to this new challenge as a very positive move in the right direction for the company, our independent advisors and clients.”

Joseph Pettinicchio, president of iForum said, “We are pleased that Tony and his team of professionals have now joined the iForum network. The financial services industry continues to go through changes and we believe that together we are well positioned to benefit from these changes.”

iForum owns several financial services firms including mutual funds, insurance and securities brokerage, which operate as a network of independent brokers in Canada under the name of iForum.

iForum has offices located in Montreal, Laval, and Quebec City. Its shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange.
