The Certified General Accountants of Ontario has launched the 2001/2002 online version of Personal Tax Planning at www.cga-ontario.org.

Revised annually and available for free, the publication is produced by CGA Ontario as a public service. The cyber version of the guide features main subject areas and a detailed index for finding specific topics. The publication also includes a series of at-a-glance tax tips to help Canadians keep more of the money they earn from year to year.

CGA Ontario’s Web- and print-based versions of Personal Tax Planning include the most recent major 2001 changes affecting individuals.

“The Association made Personal Tax Planning available on the Web to give Ontarians as much information to minimize income taxes as possible,” says Jeff Buckstein, CGA, the guide’s technical editor.

“It doesn’t matter if your investments are basic or complex, or whether your business is large or small, this guide will provide solid advice to citizens looking to maximize their income and minimize their tax dollars.”

Complimentary print copies of Personal Tax Planning can be obtained from participating public libraries throughout Ontario and are available at Staples Business Depot outlets, while supplies last.
