CCH Canadian and Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors have formally announced that they have agreed to join forces to provide CAIFA members and others in the financial services industry with a suite of educational products.
The strategic partnership will lay the foundation for a more comprehensive program of education and practice management support for CAIFA members.
Included in the agreement is access to CCH Canadian’s Electronic Research Library for Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Solutions suite of software beginning with Briefcase and including FPS, Q-Plan, and Probability Analyst. Revamped course content and on-line delivery systems for CAIFA’s courses leading to the Certified Financial Planner designation are key benefits, as well.
“Joining forces with CCH will allow CAIFA to offer an expanded program of professional development to our members,” said CAIFA president Dave Thibaudeau. “Our goal is to offer our members the most current, comprehensive and cost-effective professional development path possible and a strategic partnership will bring us one step closer to that goal.”
“We’re excited about building on our strategy of partnering with professional organizations such as CAIFA to offer top quality products developed by leading professionals,” said James de Gaspé Bonar, president and CEO of CCH Canadian.
“A strategic partnership with CAIFA will form a powerful alliance between a strong membership body in the financial community and a leading provider of financial planning, tax, legal, and human resources software and research products,” he added.
