Assante Sports & Entertainment Inc. together with The Marketing Arm, a wholly owned subsidiary of Omnicom, are establishing a joint venture aimed at matching athletes, entertainers and properties with opportunities for corporate marketing, endorsements and sponsorships.
The joint venture will be called Assante Marketing Solutions. With over 100 corporate relationships established through the Omnicom network, The Marketing Arm is the largest buyer of talent for corporate America. Ray Clark, CEO of The Marketing Arm, said, “Assante Marketing Solutions will be the perfect conduit to bring celebrities and brands together,” adding “corporate clients want direct access to sports and entertainment content and certainly Assante’s roster of nearly 1,000 athletes, entertainers and properties will provide unique access.”
Clark states, “the joint venture will enable corporate clients to bring their marketing objectives directly to Assante’s clients and build content from the ground up. Corporate clients will now become content architects. Assante not only understands this reality but can deliver real opportunities directly integrating talent with corporate clients.”
