Assante Asset Management Ltd. today reported net sales in Canada of $36 million for April 2001 compared to net sales of $8.2 million in the corresponding period last year.

Year-to-date net sales for 2001 now total $213 million compared to $56 million for the same period last year.

As a percentage of the company’s monthly average Canadian assets under management, April net sales were 0.9%. The company’s Canadian assets under management were $4.34 billion at April 30, 2001.
