Assante Corporation today announced the addition of Reimer Financial Services Inc. to its Canadian financial advisory network. Reimer Financial is a leading financial planning firm in British Columbia and will add depth to Assante’s financial advisory network in British Columbia. Subject to receipt of regulatory, board and other approvals, closing is planned for May 31, 2002.

Reimer Financial will begin operating as Assante Financial Management Ltd — Reimer Financial Division — as of May 31, 2002.
