Toronto-based Women in Capital Markets (WCM), a non-profit advocacy organization which promotes the entry and advancement of women into leadership roles in the industry, on Wednesday announced the winners of the third annual WCM Emerging Leaders Executive Coaching (ELEC) Award.

The ELEC Award is designed to support the development of high potential women, with five to 10 years’ experience and currently employed in the investment industry, in advancing into leadership roles in the industry.

Thanks to the support of Toronto and Chicago-based Felix Global Corp. (Felix), WCM’s exclusive coaching partner, the 2016 award recipients will each participate in a six-month integrated leadership program that runs from Sept. 2016 to Feb. 2017. The program includes a personal assessment, personal coaching, group coaching and access to tools to enhance their leadership skills and equip them to compete for progressively more senior roles.

“Through this program we work closely with our partner financial institutions to identify high potential women early in their careers and provide them with the key leadership skills to help them advance professionally,” says Jennifer Reynolds, CEO of WCM. “I am very pleased to congratulate this year’s recipients on being recognized for their career accomplishments to date and I look forward to seeing them develop into the next wave of financial industry leaders.”
