Toronto-based Taylor Asset Management Inc. Monday announced the launch of Taylor Partners Fund, managed by multi-award-winning, 25-year industry veteran David Taylor.
The fund will invest in quality North American businesses to capitalize on David Taylor’s track record of investing in U.S. and Canadian equities.
“Our objective for this fund is to maximize long term returns. I’m very excited about the opportunities I’m seeing in equities – particularly in the U.S. – and this mandate gives us considerable flexibility to achieve that,” says Taylor, president and chief investment officer, Taylor Asset Management Inc.
“We’re also making a sizable investment in the fund alongside our unitholders,” adds Taylor. “This fund is about building a long term partnership with our clients.”
The fund will be available via FundSERV and is expected to be available to investors at major Canadian investment dealers.
