Richard Kluska, a portfolio manager and financial advisor, and his IP Strategies team in Ottawa are returning to Raymond James Ltd., the Toronto-based brokerage announced on Wednesday.

“We are very pleased to welcome Richard and his IP Strategies team back to Raymond James,” says Terry Hetherington, executive vice president and head of the private client group at Raymond James.

IP Strategies was most recently affiliated with Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management.

Kluska’s career spans more than three decades advising high net-worth individuals and their families, entrepreneurs and business owners. He is widely recognized as an expert in business transition and the development of effective wealth-management strategies.

“We are excited to return to Raymond James, where our belief in independence and client-first mentality is respected and celebrated,” Kluska says.

“Raymond James offers the best of both worlds for our clients: the ability to deliver world-class solutions of a large North American firm for the benefit of Canadians at the community level,” he says. “It maintains a main street culture that will benefit our clients and our team.”

Also joining Kluska as part of the transition is financial advisor Craig Tubman.
