Toronto-based BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. has lowered the fees of two iShares ETFs. The annual management fees of iShares Core S&P U.S. Total Market Index ETF and its Canadian dollar-hedged equivalent now are 0.07%, down from 0.10%. These ETFs now are the lowest-cost ETFs that give investors access to the Dow Jones U.S. total stock market index, according to BlackRock Canada. Both ETFs provide investors with exposure to more than 3,700 U.S. equities ranging from large- to micro-capitalization. iShares Funds are managed by BlackRock Canada and currently encompass more than 700 ETFs globally, with US$1 trillion in assets under management as of Sept. 30, 2015. BlackRock Canada is an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of New York-based BlackRock Inc.
