(January 24 – 16:00 ET) – TD Waterhouse launched its new concept Investor Centre in Vancouver today. It plans to include elements from its revolutionary, new flagship branch in its offices across Canada.
“Our Vancouver Investor Centre offers a customer-friendly, supportive and interactive atmosphere,” says John See, vice chair and head of Canadian operations at TD Waterhouse. “It represents our commitment to helping customers make informed investment decisions.”
The center has:
> seven WebBroker terminals that allow investors to place trades and conduct online research;
> a Research Centre featuring TD Waterhouse’s extensive range of research services — including the most comprehensive selection of online research in the Canadian brokerage industry;
> three data walls displaying real-time market information;
> the only curved ticker board in Canada and encircles the business floor with a constant real-time feed of stock prices;
> nine TVs to keep customers up-to-the-second on fast-breaking international and market news.
The Vancouver branch is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, and is staffed by five highly Investment Representatives who speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
