Standard & Poor’s makes changes to TSE indices

724 Solutions, Industrial-Alliance added to TSE 300

(September 20 – 11:45 ET) – At the close of business yesterday, Standard & Poor’s Canadian Index Operations made changes to TSE 300 Composite, S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap, S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap and TSE 200 Indices.

Western Star Trucks Holdings was removed from the TSE 300 Composite, TSE 200 and S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Indices. 724 Solutions Inc.was added to the TSE 300 Composite Index in the Industrial Products Group (06.10) and TSE 200 Index, replacing Western Star Truck Holdings.

TLC Laser Eye Centers Inc. was removed from the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index and added to the S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Index, replacing Western Star Truck Holdings. 724 Solutions Inc. was added to the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index, replacing TLC Laser Eye Centers Inc.

Teklogix Inc. was removed from the TSE 300 Composite, TSE 200 and S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Indices. Industrial-Alliance Life Insurance Co. was added to the TSE 300 Composite Index in the Financial Services Group (13.05) and TSE 200 Index, replacing Teklogix Inc.

Kinross Gold Corp. was removed from the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index and added to the S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Index, replacing Teklogix Inc. Industrial-Alliance Life Insurance Company was to the S&P/TSE Canadian MidCap Index, replacing Kinross Gold Corp.
