RBC Global Services announced today that it has been retained to provide securities lending services to Perpetual Trustees Australia Limited.
“We are extremely enthusiastic about the opportunity to provide securities lending services to Perpetual,” said Graham Putt, managing director and vice president, RBC Global Services Australia. “In light of the current economic environment, many clients are looking for alternative ways to increase profitability. Many are realizing that RBC Global Services can offer value-added securities lending programs that can mitigate risk and add to their bottom lines.”
“Our selection of RBC Global Services for our securities lending program was based on our confidence in their service offering,” said Graham Bradley, managing director of Perpetual Trustees Australia Limited in the same news release. “Perpetual has previously used RBC Global Services for domestic and global custody services, as well as the outsourcing of our investment administration and through that relationship we became aware of the added value that could be created through a strategic securities lending program.”
RBC Global Services has real-time securities lending services managing CDN$1.4 trillion in client assets from desks in Toronto, Sydney and London, England.
