(July 31 – 16:25 ET) – TD Asset Management Inc. says that its Fund News Network (FNN) is now available through various TD Waterhouse Web sites around the globe.

Originally available only through TDAM’s mutual funds site, FNN produces content customized for local markets, including the United States, Australia and Japan. Through its interactive interface, anyone with Internet access can receive market updates from other countries and choose from multiple languages — English, Japanese and soon Cantonese and Mandarin.

“We are very excited to be taking FNN’s success in Canada and expanding it globally,” said Mark Wettlaufer, President, TDAM, “We are continually bringing aboard additional countries and languages.”

TDAM has also forged a number of highly visible affiliations with leading portals, resulting in FNN’s availability on popular Web sites including AOL Canada, @home, Canoe and FundLibrary.

Launched in October 1998 for Canadian investors, FNN’s Daily Market Update presents various “news anchors” delivering video content synchronized with text highlights, a ticker of closing index values and scrolling mutual fund prices.
