Richardson Partners Financial announced today that it has agreed to become a distributor of Credit Suisse’s (CS) Canadian Registered Structured Notes.

As a dealer under the CS program, Richardson Partners will re-sell to Canadian investors prospectus-qualified structured notes on a fully underwritten basis.

Richardson Partners will be the first dealer to have such an agreement in connection with CS’s Canadian Structured Notes Program.

Richardson Partners has, through previous private placements, introduced to the Canadian marketplace some innovative structures as a result of its relationship with CS. The independent wealth management firm was the first firm to offer to investors in Canada the CS-developed Buffered Accelerated Return Equity Securities (BARES) structure in August 2007.

”We are excited to be associated with Credit Suisse,” says Sue Dabarno, president & CEO, Richardson Partners. “We have been working closely with Credit Suisse for a while and feel that we share the same values in managing wealth while seeking to bring institutional type solutions to our clients.”
