ScotiaMcLeod has changed the portfolio advisors on two of its funds, the division of Scotia Capital Inc. announced on Thursday.

Effective Jan. 6, 2009, Thornburg Investment Management, Inc. will become portfolio advisor for the Pinnacle International Equity Fund, replacing Wellington Management Company, LLP.

Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Thornburg is an employee-owned investment management firm that manages assets of approximately $43 billion for bond funds, equity funds, and separate accounts for institutional and high net worth clients.

Effective Feb. 5, 2009, Scheer, Rowlett & Associates Investment Management Ltd. will become portfolio advisor for the Pinnacle Canadian Value Equity Fund, replacing BonaVista Asset Management Ltd.

A member of Vancouver-based Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group of companies, Scheer Rowlett manages approximately $4 billion in assets, specializing in value-oriented, Canadian equities and balanced mandates.
