Guardian Group of Funds Ltd. is appointing Harris Investment Management Inc. as portfolio advisor for GGOF American Equity Fund Ltd., replacing Lazard Asset Management (Canada) Inc., effective March 18, 2009.
Harris Investment Management Inc. began managing money over 100 years ago and had approximately US$16.9 billion in assets under management as of July 31, 2008.
Harris is a wholly owned, indirect subsidiary of BMO Bank of Montreal.
