Middlefield Mutual Funds has added a new fund to its corporate class family of funds: Groppe Tactical Energy Class.

The fund is available in both Series A and F shares.

Groppe, Long & Littell, a Houston, Tex.-based oil and gas consulting firm, will provided Middlefield with on-going global analysis of the forces impacting the the prices of oil and natural gas. Middlefield will use the analysis in making asset allocation decisions.

The fund has been designed to capitalize on the positive long-term outlook for the sector through a strategy of active asset allocation and security selection, Middlefield sasy.

Low load sales option

In addition, Middlefield now offers Series A shares with a low load sales option. The new low load option is available on the following funds:
