McDonald Investment Management Inc. intends to terminate provision of portfolio advisory services in mid-September for several has given notice to Opus 2 Direct.com Inc. portfolios.

The portfolios affected include: the Opus 2 Ambassador Growth Portfolio; Opus 2 Ambassador Growth RSP Portfolio; Opus 2 Ambassador Balanced Portfolio; Opus 2 Ambassador Balanced RSP Portfolio; Opus 2 Ambassador Conservative Portfolio; Opus 2 Ambassador Conservative RSP Portfolio; and, Opus 2 Canada Plus Balanced Fund and the Opus 2 Direct Foreign Equity Pool.

On July 1, 2001, Opus 2 changed the investment manager of the Opus 2 Canada Plus Balanced Fund from MIM to Bissett Investment Management, a division of Franklin Templeton Investment Corp.

Bissett replaced MIM in providing portfolio advisory services to the Canadian equity portion of the Canada Plus Fund. MIM continued to provide portfolio advisory services to the EAFE portion of the Fund as an investment sub-advisor but has now given notice of its intention to terminate its provision of such services.

The new sub-advisor to the Opus 2 Direct Foreign EAFE Pool is Arrowstreet Capital L.P.The remaining investment sub-advisors to the Canada Plus Fund remain the same.
