Gestion Ferique Inc. yesterday announced the appointment of UBS Global Asset Management (Canada) Co. as investment adviser of the Feique European Fund, replacing Nordea Investment Management – North America. The appointment will take effect on September 30.

UBS is one of the largest global asset managers, with over $500 billion of assets under management. UBS’s strengths lie in its globally integrated organization and processes, the expertise and diversity of its staff, as well as in the quality of client service and mandate execution.

Gestion Ferique manages Ferique Funds, a family of eight mutual funds created for Quebec engineers and their families. Ferique Funds have over $1 billion in assets under management and some 20,000 clients.
