First Ontario to be merged with GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd.
First Ontario Labour Sponsored Investment Fund Ltd announced on Friday that its shareholders have approved the merger of First Ontario into GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd.
The merger was approved by special resolution at the annual and special shareholders meeting held on June 6. Currently, the net assets of First Ontario are approximately $36 million and the net assets of GrowthWorks Canadian are approximately $360 million.
