(July 18 – 09:50 ET) – Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd. and Excite Canada are offering a beginner investment course to subscribers of the @Home high-speed broadband service.

The course, which takes about two to three hours to complete, teaches the ABC’s of investing in mutual fund. “Fidelity’s investment course has been met with tremendous enthusiasm,” says Hugh Stuart, president, Excite Canada.

Fidelity is extending the co-operation with Excite into a company-wide in-house training initiative for Fidelity. Excite’s Creative Services department has helped develop a CD ROM for Fidelity’s corporate education program.
