CGF Income & Equity Class is close to purchases effective immediately, CGF Mutual Funds Corp. said Wednesday.

In addition, following the close of business on Jan. 29, 2010, CGF will redeem all of the issued and outstanding shares of the following CGF mutual funds:

• CGF Income & Equity Class;
• CGF Canadian Heavyweight Equity Class;
• CGF US Heavyweight Equity Class;
• CGF International Heavyweight Equity Class, and
• CGF Global Heavyweight Equity Class.

Investors will receive a redemption price equal to the applicable series net asset value for each share that is redeemed.

Following the redemption, it is expected that all of the CGF mutual funds will be terminated on or about Feb. 1, 2010.

Pending the redemption of the shares and the termination of the funds, the portfolio advisor for the funds will continue to be Shaunessy Investment Counsel Inc.
