Research and investment banking firm Westwind Partners Inc., announced the addition of John C. Grandy to the Toronto office and Mark Reynolds to the Calgary office on Thursday.
Bringing 25 years experience in research, telecommunications and investment banking, John C. Grandy joins Westwind in the position of co-head of research. Grandy recently held the position of senior vice president and deputy director of research with a Toronto-based securities firm where he also managed research and compliance. Previously, he was an analyst covering Canadian telecommunications, wireless technology and cable. He has also held a variety of banking positions with large Canadian banks in Canada, Europe and in Britain.
Mark Reynolds joins Westwind’s Calgary office in the role of research analyst within the oil and gas team. Reynolds brings a number of years of experience in the investment banking industry where he has worked on financial forecasting, valuations and mergers and acquisitions. Recently he worked in research at a Toronto-based securities firm where he specialized in oil and gas companies.
