(June 30 – 09:40 ET) – Bob Schultz has retired from his positions as Chairman and a director of Merrill Lynch Canada Finance Co. Effective June 30, the board has appointed Bill Packham to replace Schultz.

Schultz recently retired as chairman and chief executive of Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. He remains with a firm, though, as an adviser and board member. Schultz hasn’t been replaced as CEO, although Packham, currently president and chief operating officer, is Merrill’s de facto head in Canada.
