(February 1 – 12:05 ET) – The Ontario Securities Commission has issued a Notice of Hearing and Statement of Allegations against Mikael Prydz. Enforcement staff allege that. Prydz sold securities to Ontario investors outside his category of registration.
And Prydz continued to sell securities without after his registration had expirted, the OSC alleges. In addition, the securities which were sold were not qualified by a prospectus.
It’s alleged that Prydz acted as an adviser in the category of portfolio manager without being registered with the Commission in this capacity.
The hearing in this matter will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2000 in the main hearing room of the Commission located on the 8th Floor, 20 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario. Consideration will be given to settling the case.
