Yorkton Securities has announced a number of key management changes today Bill Fulton has been appointed president and COO. Fulton has most recently served as executive VP and chief administrative officer at Merrill Lynch Canada and before that executive VP and CFO at Midland Walwyn. Fulton will take on special responsibility for strengthening Yorkton’s Private Client Services division.

Yorkton also announced a new Head of National Retail Sales. Bill Sacre is rejoining the firm in a role he held until last May, when he left to join TD Evergreen as the executive VP of Business Development.

The company has also announced a number of internal changes. Two Yorkton partners, Michael Denny and Mitch Greenspoon, will be the joint Directors of Investment Banking. Both are investment banking professionals with Denny leading Yorkton’s health care practice and Greenspoon who is responsible for Yorkton’s investment banking activities in the Province of Quebec and Ottawa. Shawn Aspden has been appointed Director of Institutional Sales, a group he has been a member of since early 1998.

It was also announced that Ron Wardlaw will join Michael Lawrance as Head Trader at the company. Joining them as a senior trader is Bob Little, Sr., who brings over 30 years experience to Yorkton, having worked at a number of major dealers throughout his career.
